Schala Ashteare – Guardia

Guardia is a medium-sized island a little bit away from the body of water between Ireland and Spain.IT IS FICTIONAL.The Hetalia character is the older sister of America and Canada. Also, she is an Allied Force.

So, near France? You could have just said that… Why would she be the older sister of America and Canada? That makes no sense. To be that, she would have to be something along the line of an island before the East cost of the two countries, which this country isn’t. This country isn’t even on the same continent, so I don’t know how that makes sense.  She can be an Allied nation, but she probably would have been invaded and made Axis, like what happened to Denmark, Netherlands, or France.

Six foot tall? I would say that’s too tall, because for that to be the average height of a woman in her nation, there would have to be women that are over 6 feet, which is extremely tall for a woman. Ill excuse the name since its the name of a character from Chrono Trigger. 

Appearence

Guardia is a girl, 24 years old in human age, though she appears to look younger.She has light brown hair spikey hair that’s tied back into a ponytail (she also has America’s and Canada’s haircurls on her bangs) and jewel green(although some sketches show her with blue eyes) with a lighter shade at the bottom of the Iris.In modern day, she wears a baggy black elbow length t-shirt, with a blue pendant (this pendent resembles the one Marle has in the video game Chrono Trigger,see trivia for more details).

I would say that she shouldn’t have the two ahoges, because every ahoge in Hetalia is unique and different.

Personality

Guardia is a medium-loud girl, who will sometimes not say anything at all.Other times, she will be very loud.Sometimes, she is calm, but if something VERY good happens (ex. they mange to ward off invading countries,ect.) she will smile, celebrate,ect.If something bad happens, or she gets frustrated (ex. France hits on her, she loses a battle,ect.) she will either get VERY angry, or hit something (most of the time it’s France, though).She is VERY tough and can normally break boulders when she is angry.Also, she is sometimes seen speaking a unique language (a.k.a. The Ancient Language from Chrono Trigger) to the air (the mythical creatures she can see).

 

Why would she hit France? He isn’t a pervert… She seems to have the personality of a basic Sue, so I would make sure to give her a legitimate personality. Try to give her a more fleshed-out personality, with flaws. The super-strength is unnecessary as well, because most people, even when angry cannot break boulders. 

History

A long time before she met Spain, she lived in the Kingdom of Zeal (before it collapsed anyway). After Zeal collapsed, she was alone, in the cold for a very long time and became less trustworthy and wary during this time.Then, she met Spain.At first, she saw him as an enemy ( see Country Relations: Spain for more info) but eventually warmed up to him. During the Middle Ages, she was busy with a war going on in her lands against the Feindlord (play Chrono Trigger for more info or email me I’ll post the email soon) so she really didn’t see Spain or any other countries during 580-600 A.D. but afterwards she had met France and immediately disliked him (see Country Relations: France for more info). Then, met more countries after that.

Since this is not a real nation and we can’t read a wikipedia page about it, the history should be written amazingly well. I would say that you should try to describe everything with specific dates and explain who the other countries are without talking about the game, as most people haven’t played it or heard of it at all.

Country Relations

America

Guardia’s little brother, whom she always looks out for. When he’s in trouble, most of the time he’s reculant to ask her for her help, but does so in the end. They play video games with each other almost always when they see each other.

Why would they be siblings? Sibling nations usually grew up together and share a very similar culture. For example, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are siblings because of their shared history as Kleivan Rus . I also don’t think that they would be that close, as America canonically doesn’t have that many nation-friends. 

Canada

Guardia’s other little brother. She rarely mistakes Canada for America, only ONE time did she mistake him for America, and her eyes were blurred out for a while that time.

Canonically, other then America, only France can tell the two apart and notice Canada, because of Canada’s sexy hair which looks like France’s. So she would probably be unable to see Canada or tell him apart from Canada.

Britian

One of Guardia’s many friends. They met when Chibi Britain was being bullied by France when she came in, and kicked France’s ass (and France mistook Guardia for a boy, while everyone else knew she was a girl).In the modern day, they get along pretty well. It has been hinted that Britian has a crush on Guardia,but doesn’t speak of it very much (it is nearly unknown if she holds feelings back, though there have been moments….)

When Britain was a chibi, so 3-5, France looked to be in his early teens, so I would think that she wouldn’t kick his ass. Also, in the Middle Ages, you could not have short hair or wear male clothes if you were a member of nobility, so how the hell would France mistake Guardia to be a boy? 

France

For some time, France had thought that Guardia was a boy, until the truth was revealed. France’s pride was broken somewhat that day…. In modern times, they get along somewhat… France usually hits on her, but gets punched, kicked,etc. He also serves as her “punching bag” for when she’s angry.

Why would his pride be injured? If she didn’t look like a woman at that time, then she would be disgraced, not him. And if you injure France when he hits on you, he will definitely stop hitting on you. She sounds like a complete bitch here, to be honest as she hits a rather innocent France when she’s angry. I think quite a few people might have a problem with that. France isn’t weak, and if you assault him, he would probably hit you back. 

Italy (Both)

At one point in time, Guardia controlled both North and South Italy. She gave them political freedoms and other freedoms, except for military. She tried to train the Italian military with her best generals,mercenaries,and cadets, but nearly failed. Instead, Guardian soldiers protected Italy in that time. In the modern day, she gets along well with the Italy brothers. She frequently trades with them, even has an alliance with them.

*Sigh* Please don’t break the canon. Unless she came before the Roman Empire, there isn’t a time period that Italy was able to be under her power. Also, occupations were not usually gentle. The majority of the people died. Freedoms were usually not allowed either, as that would mean that there is an ability for Italians to seize power. Guardian military would not train the Italian military, as that means that in case of an uprising, the Italians have a well-trained military. 

Greece

At one point in time, Guardia was controlled by Greece. During this time, Greece was very kind with her and they became great friends.In the modern day, they get along very well and normally hang out. Whenever Greece is out, she normally takes care of his cats.

As I stated previously, invading countries are never kind.  You would not be great friends with your invaders.  Prussia hates Russia, ect. Unless your girl is the very ditzy and forgiving type, she would hate Greece. 

Turkey

Guardia is on very good terms with Turkey. She knows that Greece and Turkey hate each other, so she seperates them alot when they hang out.

Why would a country near France be friends with Turkey? It seems rather odd and out of place on her profile. 

Germany

Guardia DESPISES Germany. She can’t stand it when he’s around. He knows about this, and refrains from doing anything when she’s around. The reason she hates Germany is because during and after WWII he kept invading her and bombing her land. In modern time she sorta gets somewhat along with him.

Does she despise him, or can she stand him? I’m confused. But my question is, why would Germany bomb a tiny island off the coast of France when they need to take the Soviet Union, or other parts of Europe? 

Japan

Japan is another one of Guardia’s friends.They generally trade alot in modern days. During WWII, they barely knew each other, only by name and reputation.

Does this girl have no enemies? Usually, trade happens between closer nations, so they wouldn’t trade a lot or “alot” as you put it but i’ll accept this. 

Russia

Guardia is not generally “scared” of Russia, but respects him as an admiral oppenent whenever they fought. The first time Russia tried taking over Guardia, he was suprised how she wasn’t scared of him and respected her in return.

I just bashed my head against my keyboard. Why the hell would Russia travel over 3,000 km and across numerous powerful empires to try to take over an island? That seems OOC and in gener just stupid. Now I need pills and therapy. 

Spain

Spain and Guardia have more of a “twin relashonship” (ex. whenever they’re arod they’ll say things simutaneously,etc.),mainly because Spain was the country that discovered Guardia when they were kids.He also gave her her name,because when they met she was wary of him,and always kept her guard around him.Later on she began to trust each him.In the modern day,they get along very well and hang out often.

This is even worse. Why would Spain and her be such close friends? England discovered America, but they don’t have a twin relationship. That bullshit is bullshit. No excuses. 

Also, as a reminder: SPAIN IS BEST FRIENDS WITH PRUSSIA AND FRANCE!!!!!!!!!!!! He would not be BFF’s with you if you detested Prussia’s brother and by extention him as he was on Germany’s side during WW2, and if you beat up France every time you’re angry. 

Trivia

• Guardia is actually a fictional place from the video game Chrono Trigger.The creator of this OC DOES NOT own anything from the game, just this character.
• The original character’s design was to somewhat portray what some of the characters of Chrono Trigger look like.

Dawn Kirkland – London

This gem is a London OC by the name of Dawn Kirkland. 

London hates her father England for one main reason. When she was 12 one of the worker’s tried to molest her like he had been doing since she was 6. London finally stood up to him earning a grounding after the worker lied. She now feels as if he doesn’t care for her. Being molested so many times screwed up her mind a lot. She struggles with depression and has nearly committed suicide numerous times, England has even considered committing her.

England is not that horrible of a character! He would probably believe his daughter over a random employer. As well, nations age decently slowly, (ex China is 5000 years old but seems to be in his late 20’s, so I think that one employer could not rape her while she physically aged from 6-12. 

Love for Respect

London is in love with Japan. Which is ironic, not because Japan is older than her father but London’s best friend is Tokyo, Japan’s daughter.

I like how London is friends with a city, not a country. But Japan would not be communicating with a nation, of all things. For reference, see how the countries treat Sealand and other micronations. 

It is because of Japan that England finds out of London’s molestation. London had been staying with Tokyo and Japan for a few days and had woken up crying from a nightmare from her past.

I honestly would not think that Japan and Tokyo would live together, but that could possibly happen. 

Tokyo was out at a party with her boyfriend Sidney, London’s cousin, that Japan did not know about.

By Sidney, do you mean Sydney, as in the city in Australia, or Sidney, a random girl? As well, I wouldn’t think that Sydney and London would be cousins, as England colonized Australia, so they would not be related by blood. 

London had to talk to Japan about it. They ended up hooking up because London is very persistent when it comes to a man she likes. With out raping them of course. Japan ending up flipping shit on England at the next world meeting because he tried to be a father and tell London not to drink soda.

My first issue is that Japan and London hook up. Again, nations would not care about other cities, as it is obvious that they consider themselves to be better then micronations, which are similar to cities. He would also probably not fall for it, and would be rather awkward around her, like he is with Turkey, and like he acted in the Webcomic strip where it is heavily implied Greece and Japan had sex. 

My second issue is that Japan is extremely polite. He would not yell or insult England for any reason, as he is too polite, and would not argue with England for being a good father. Also, a city in England would not be present at the WORLD MEETING. England is the representative for the whole country, and takes  care of matters for all the cities. 

Japan and London started a relationship after that and will eventually have twins, Kyoto & Chiba. Or Kiyoshi Honda and Narumi Honda. Chiba turns out to be a lesbian and ends up falls in love with Moscow, Russia and Belarus’s unconsensual daughter.

Again, I have multiple issues. If a city and a country got together, why would their children be cities in that country? That makes no sense whatsoever. 

Also, why is Moscow a lesbian? Russia has anti-gay laws, which means that gays are not that accepted, and the capital would probably not be lesbian. 

And Belarus is a rather weak woman, while Russia is an extremely strong man. If he did not want the sex, he would hit her, or something of that sort. Belarus also probably wants to “become one with Russia” to be close to him, and to protect him from sadness, in her own twisted sense. She would probably not rape him. 

The Enemy is Daddy

London had ran away from home a lot after her hatred for her father started. Germany took her in every time. He treated her like his own.

Germany is not a very kind character. He is very serious and militaristic, so he would probably not let a child of his enemy live with him.

London began calling him “ChiChi Doitsu” and considering him as her father. Sometimes to have fun she calls Italy “HaHa Itaria”.

Germany would not tolerate being called something stupid like “ChiChi Doitsu” He would probably be very angry at her, as even though he likes Italy quite a lot, he does not tolerate anything similar from him. She is not Japanese, so she wouldn’t say Doitsu and wouldn’t have an accent when saying the letter L. 

London even gets to the point that when she gives birth to Japan’s children to tell the nurses not to let England in the room & that Germany is her father. Making England upset.

That seems like a very dickish thing to do, and Germany would not be alright with being considered the father of one of his rival’s children. 

Appearance

Child London: Dark brown hair with a white bang, amber eyes, pale skinned

Amber eyes are unnatural. This is an amber rock, below. Did you maybe mean honey-brown?

Adult London: Black hair with a white bang, red eyes, pale skinned

Red eyes are unnatural as well, and are only possible in certain lighting on albinos.

• The white bang is her e-zone.

Only the Italy Brothers have E-Zones. For all other nations, they have ahoges. Again, white hair is unnatural. 

 

Personality

Though she is mentally unstable London is very loving to certain people, Japan & Germany for example. London also enjoys partying and getting to know people. So she very charismatic.’

So far, she doesn’t seem to fit the definition of charismatic, or “exercising a compelling charm that inspires devotion in others” as she doesn’t seem like a truly pleasant person.

London, much like her father, both England and Germany, is very bad tempered.

England is rather bad-tempered when provoked by America and France, but generally doesn’t snap at people for no reason. Germany is a very strict, militaristic sort of man, but he is not bad-tempered unless Italy or someone else provokes or interrupts him. 

She’s very open with her sexuality and really enjoys sexual encounters with women. She even went as far as getting into England’s spells and turning Japan into a girl.

Japan is said to be “an old man” in the 6th manga volume, and is very traditional, so he would not appreciate being turned into a woman at all. 

Relationship

Real Father: England

Mother: Unknown, believed to be one of England’s female slaves when he was a pirate. (She also was possibly Italian because of London’s e-zone being in her hair)

Erogenous zones for the Italy brothers are not the same for every Italian, so her E-Zone location, and the fact that she even has an e-zone does not make sense. 

Brothers: Winchester, Greenwich, Sealand

Why only these cities are personofied, I don’t know. But Sealand is England’s little brother, not his son. 

Uncles: America, Scotland, N. Ireland, Australia, Canada

I would not include America, Australia and Canada. The reason is that England had a lot of colonies. India, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Cuba, Gibraltar, Jamaica, the Falkland Islands, Jersey, The Isle of Man… The list goes on and on. 

Aunt: Wales, Rep. Of Ireland

Cousin: Sidney, Edinburgh

Why do some nations have city representatives and some don’t? How about Washington DC and Ottawa? Or New York and Calgary or Toronto or San Diego?

Lover: Japan

I already expressed my point of view. 

Best friends: Tokyo, Moscow & Puerto Rico

Moscow and London’s relationships are extremely frosty even post cold war, so they would probably dislike each other or maybe even not care about the other. They would not be friends. 

Puerto Rico is a country, so she would not care about London.

Considered Father: Germany

Considered Sisters: Milan, Berlin and Venice

Considered Brother: Mannheim

Why are Germany and Italy her considered parents, and Milan, Venice, Berlin and Mannheim her relatives? Germany did not meet Italy until WW1, when England and Germany were enemies, and Italy and Germany only became close friends during WW2. London would have hated Germany during that time, due to the Blitz. She would probably hold a large grudge against both.

Dawn isn’t really a popular London or even England name. 

Age: 18

America is 19 and England is 23, so she would maybe be 15, but even that is a stretch. 

Hates: Her father, not being invited to parties, not getting alcohol when she wants it

Loves: Partying, alcohol, sex, Japan, music, dancing

She doesn’t seem very charismatic and seems like a complete bitch. No offence, but she doesn’t seem like the type of person to represent London, a cultured, ancient and very interesting city. 

Secret fear: being raped

That’s not a secret fear, everyone is terrified of being raped!

Dark secret: molested by house worker as a child

Weapons: knives and a pistol

Why would she use weapons? She isn’t a nation, so she wouldn’t go to war, she is a woman so she was only given rights 50 or so years ago. 

Favorite food: Doesn’t eat much but likes, energy bars, rice, chocolate, pasta, potatoes and nothing her father cooks

Favorite Drink: Mountain Dew and alcohol

She would be extremely obese! You cannot eat only that and still be skinny! Also, she would like England’s food. Remember, she is his capital.

Favorite Animals: Cats, pandas, polar bears

…That seems like rip-offs of other pets of characters. Greece has cats, China has pandas and Canada has polar bears. 

Pets: Cats at home, use to care for wolf cubs, that she found in the woods, when she ran away and stayed with Germany.

Cats I can accept, but Wolves? Are you kidding me? Wolves are rather vicious animals, love.

Reasoning

London is made this way to show that its okay to have a different interpretation. Hence her odd appearance. Her eyes turned from amber to red over time. It is possible for eye color to change. I should know. Mine change with my environment. My grandmother’s changed with her mood.

No, eye colour cannot change over time. With the enviroment, yes, as the sun can change eye colour, ect. but eye colour cannot change from 

 to . That is impossible.

Dawn is also a popular name in both America and England for girls. Its actually old English.

Her molestation is supposed to represent something that happened in the actual cities past. Whatever tragic event you can think of really. All tragic events that have happened in London, yes England knows them but this is for a show so who cares if its not 100% historically accurate. The whole England believing his worker over his daughter is supposed to prove he isn’t as perfect as he tries to make himself seem. He made a mistake by not letting his daughter explain. He just didn’t want to assume the worst. It was an accident. Every parent makes mistakes. And to be honest I like England, he’s a good guy with good intentions but he still makes mistakes.

ENGLAND WOULD NOT DO THAT. He is not the type of person not to listen. And molestation does not represent tragic events whatsoever. That is a disgusting idea. 

Also with her family. I put Sealand as her brother because it is unclear what Sealand is to England, a son or a younger brother. Its all up to the fan I believe since its never been clarified. I look at him as a son to England more than a little brother.

They are brothers. Here is the England-Sealand relationship from the APH wiki: 

“Sealand declared himself an independent country when England didn’t want it back after the end of the war. The two always bicker because Sealand, who wants to be recognized as a nation, often sneaks into conferences the other countries attend (such as the G8, when Sealand pretended to be Canada). Despite calling his brother “Jerk England” and promising that the older nation will bow to him someday, Sealand relies on England.”

The reason Germany takes her in is because he knows its the right thing to do. He’s the only character, besides Japan maybe, that has enough sense to put aside whatever differences with another character, even if it deals with that characters child. And take the child in so they don’t die.

Germany would not take in a random child, especially one that belongs to an enemy of his in and raise it. He would probably give the child back the next day, but he would not raise it. He has his own issues and worries and a child of his enemy is not going to be a friend of his. 

Yeah I know the nations and cities are “immortal”. But in most fanfictions there is the fact that yes the nations can die. But they come back to life. If they are hurt they regenerate.

Also with London turning Japan into a girl. Happens less often than it seems. Japan is never very comfortable with the sudden change but since London uses a spell that only lasts a day he figures it wont be that bad.

Again, Japan is an old man. He would not be alright with that in any way. 

Also with London and Japan being a couple somethings should be cleared up. Yes, London was a bit of a whore in her past. And yes she used the as her advantage the first time she and Japan hooked up. But she had had feelings for him since she was a preteen. But she let Japan decide if he wanted to be with her. There was no sex in between the one hook up and the decision.

Japan is not the type to hook up with as you said, “a bit of a whore”. In fact, in the “Sex Frequency Poll” Webcomic, Japan denies the fact that he had sex with Greece. 

Lastly, London knows her father made a mistake. She just has a lot of bent up pride that won’t let her forgive him. She is making baby steps at being in good terms with her father though. She’s showing more respect for him and even, sometimes, actually talks to him if she and Japan get into a small spat. Usually its after Germany tells her to talk to her real father about it. Germany does care for London as a daughter but he knows its best for London to have a good relationship with her blood father. He even snapped on her after she gave birth to Kyoto and Chiba to let England see his grandchildren.

Germany would not be that nice to a child of his enemy. He would not see her as his daughter either. 

I realized that this needed to be added in because most people don’t have the same mind set as I.

I hope this clears up any questions on why she is the this way.

I know there will still be people to disapprove of her but I don’t care. That’s up to them. London is a very common fan character and this is my interpretation. Yes she is different, but that is the main point.

I wanted to have a darker more everyday problem kinda effect with her. Molestation isn’t a joke. I figured people would get the message I was putting that its out there. We all know it but we refuse to believe it.
